The Junior Grizzlies baseball league relies on volunteers! We need your help! We need individuals, teams, and organizations willing to help! The following volunteer positions need filling:
PLAYER BUDDIES
Each player is assigned a buddy during the game. A buddy is an able-bodied volunteer who will help the player as much or as little as they need. Not only is it a support position, but it's an opportunity for the players and buddies to become friends.
TEAM COACHES
All Junior Grizzlies teams are assigned a coach and assistant coach. These volunteers are responsible for scheduling practices and supervising all games. The coaches teach the players about the fundamentals of baseball.
UMPIRES
All umpires are volunteers. They maintain control of the game. Due to the unique rules associated with Junior Grizzlies, the typical rules of baseball do not apply. A general understanding of baseball is required.
CONCESSIONS Volunteers are needed to run the concession stand during each game. Two volunteers are needed for each game.
